Speaker Dogara reacts to Abdulmumin Jibrin's allegations

The speaker of the House of Reps, Yakuku Dogara, reacted to the allegations by Abdulmumin Jibrin in a series of tweets on Thursday, in which he made very serious revelations of alleged corruption against the speaker and three other principal officers of the House who were named.

Dogara didn't say if the allegations are true, but he said Hon. Jibrin was dropped as Chairman of the Appropriation committee after he threatened that "heavens will come down" if he's dropped...

On his part, Hon Jibrin said we should expect documentary evidence. We are waiting. #politics

A house that is divided against itself cannot stand. Corruption will kill this present house. The foundation was laid on lose sands and storm has come now and I don't see it withstanding the storm. It is a tragedy. 8th Senate should just dissolve itself to enable Nigeria have a new election that will usher in a new democratically elected senators
