Lagos Monarch Regains Freedom From Kidnappers Den

The Oniba of Iba, Oba Yushau Oseni who was kidnapped since on July 16th, rejoined his family and subjects on Saturday a freeman. He was abducted by unknown people from his palace in Iba, Lagos.

Police Commissioner Eatai Owoseni confirmed the Oba’s release on Saturday night, saying the leader of the gang of kidnappers had been arrested by his men.

It was not immediately clear if a ransom was paid before the Oba was eventually freed. It's a known fact that the kidnappers had demanded the sum of N500million ransom which the victim’s family members said they could not afford.

The Police in Lagos has assured that they would get the bad guys and rescue the monarch. Kudos!
