Family of kidnapped Schoolboy who's sick pays N1m ransom

Sources say the students and officials of Lagos Junior Model College, Igbonla, Epe have regained their freedom. But the family of one of the four pupils, who was reported to have fallen sick in kidnappers’ den, were said to have paid N1m ransom.

The victims, who comprised four pupils – Okonkwo Emmanuel, Isaac Adebisi, Abu and Jeremiah – an English Language/Civic Education teacher, Lukman Oyerinde, and the Vice-Principal, A.O. Oyesola, were kidnapped last Thursday.

Police say they are on top of the situation, and are sure to catch the kidnappers.
