JUST IN: Many feared killed as Shiites clash with Police again

Members of the Shiite Islamic Movement of Nigeria this Monday morning clashed with the police in Kano city. A witness said the clash started around Tamburawa, on the outskirts of Kano, when the police tried to stop a Shiite protest.

Over a dozen people including a police officer are feared killed from the violent clash.

The police authorities in the sate have since deployed heavily armed mobile police officers to the area while the major Kano-Zaria road is completely blocked.

One wonders when this Shiites saga will eventually end or be resolved.

These shiites people should obey the 'no protest' directive given to them to avoid more blood bath. It's no news that most of them have no value for life including theirs.
