DSS Arrests Billionaire Businessman Ifeanyi Uba?

Ifeanyi Uba, the owner of Capital Oil, has been arrested and detained by Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS). The main reason is not yet known.

The billionaire had been previously implicated in a fraud saga with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

He was accused of embezzling funds from an illegal sale of crude oil saved in his facility.

One of his staff working on a project site in Anambra confirmed the arrest to Daily Post. He said news of the arrest was quietly discussed by his superiors on Thursday morning.

“The news is true. Our bosses wore long faces this morning. They have not said anything to us yet”, the source said.

  2. This kind of arrest could only takes place because the chairman; Joe-na-tan no more in power, just because of sales of product put in his facility, when he did not actually rub FG from NNPC facilities, remember Ifeanyi was one of the anointed/adopted child of former president Joe, the arrest is would have happened if Joe still in power you know.
