"I Am Back To My Position As VP, Buhari Is Now In Charge" – Osinbajo

Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), has confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari is now in charge. He told state house correspondents shortly after briefing president Buhari that he is no longer the acting president.

He said, "I am back to my regular position as Vice-President"

Prof. Osinbajo explained that he had a very important discussion with the president.

President Buhari resumed office today and formally transmitted letters to the Senate and the House of Representatives, informing them "that I have resumed my functions as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with effect from Monday, March 13, 2017, after my vacation in compliance with Section 145 of the 1999 Constitution".
