16-Year-Old Boy Sent To Prison In Delta, Mother Cries Out

According to Harrison, a former prisoner who has dedicated his life in helping prison inmates, a 16-year-old boy, Chijindu Ezentu, is suffering in Ogwashi Uku prison, Delta state, following an issue he had with a co-worker. What happened? Read the story...

Both families agree to settle after the poor women treated the boy her son injured. Nigeria police why making a small boy languish in prison? Hope this doesn't become another awaiting trial case.

  2. The Nigerian police always want to show over sabi. If this Chijindu did not defend himself, he might probably be the one in that hospital bed.

  4. this no longer has to do with the bottle injured boy so why is the delta state police command making a big deal out an already settled issue of which a struggling mama has used some of her savings to pay for medical bills and also money for upkeep..the commissioner of police delta state should wade into this and other civil society groups this is abnormal and abuse of his human rights, the delta state police have been in the use for very wrong reasons offlate..pathetic indeed

  7. you people are missing the issue here. from the story as told, nothing has been given to the police handling the case and that means the boy can die for all they care. majority of the people awaiting phony trial in our prisons today are those who could not settle the police with as little as N200 as when demanded. we need a highly mobile complaint agency to check the excesses of the police.
