Ex-Air Peace Staff caught after Carting Away Vault containing Millions... manager "involved"

The burglars who invaded the office of Air Peace airline in Akure, Ondo State have been caught with the stolen vault. They were nabbed by airport security guards on Thursday.

We had reported how robbers broke into Air Peace office and robbed the airline of millions of naira over the weekend. The job looked like an insider operation. The manage has been fingered.  

A source who had confirmed the incident, said the robbers broke into the office through a crack in a wall. “The hoodlums burgled into the office of the airline through a small cracked wall and stole valuables including the vault. I learned that they couldn't immediately break the vault in the short process and hence the reason for taking it away."

According to SR, the burglars who invaded the office are men who had worked for the domestic airline two months ago as contract employees. They were arrested at a bush within the premises of the airport and caught with the stolen vault and an axe.

The robbers had broken into the Air Peace office in Akure while it was closed for the weekend and stole a vault containing millions of naira.

A private security guard revealed that the two suspects confessed to the crime and said the manager of the office masterminded the criminal operation.
