Presidency Versus Saraki, Others: National Assembly Angry, To Hold Joint Session

Things are not the same anymore. The tables at both the national assembly and the Presidency are shaking. Looks like there will be a fall out or something close to it in the days ahead.

The two chambers of the national assembly will on Tuesday hold a joint session over the political tension in the country.

This is an outcome of a separate meeting held on Monday by some members of the national assembly to discuss the best way to address latest developments.

Many angry lawmakers have described the cases against Bukola Saraki, Dino Melaye's and other members of the national assembly as an “assault” and they are ready to fight the Muhammadu Buhari-led Presidency.
