SARS Storms Kidnapper's Mansion In Imo Before Its Demolition

A massive demolition of kidnappers' dens and houses by the Imo state government has led to the destruction of one of the dens which housed an APC chieftain who was abducted and murdered in cold blood by suspected kidnappers in the Mgbidi area of the state.

According to reports, Mgbidi residents were shocked when security operatives numbering more than 45 with Hilux vehicles and heavy machines stormed the communities to destroy the houses of kidnappers said to be kingpins in the crime industry.

The families of the suspects were said to have been evacuated by the time the bulldozers reached the location.

It would be recalled that in line with the decision of some state governments in the South East to curb kidnapping, private houses and hotels of suspects were bulldozed.
